The breakfast was good , it included a super variety of options. I was charmed by the spacious bathroom in my room , it featured complimentary toiletries. Teas and coffees were replenished EVERY day , which i appreciate.
The sourdough rolls i ordered were quite hard , i must admit. My fries were served lukewarm , they also came in a pot that was only 3/4 full. The Rhubarb gin fizz cocktail I ordered looked no different from a regular gin and tonic , sadly.

the fish cakes were burnt. there was one large prawn in sauce and that was all. the potatoes were in a tiny dish and not enough.

The provided breakfast was delicious, it featured many local ingredients. I greatly apreciated the cleanliness of my room, it was like a sanctuary.
The noise level in the evenings was quite loud, it made sleeping difficult. The limited parking spaces available caused some inconvenience.

the room decor was nice.
i was looking forward to sunday lunch i booked online... on arrival, i was warned of a staff shortage and only a limited menu. seasonal vegetables included carrots and runner beans. they were hard and soggy.

the room was a beautiful king room, it had great amenities. i found a tv with many channels there. also included was a coffee machine. breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality. the staff was very cute here.
the children's menu had a mostly meat based selection.
